Montrose House | Bowral wedding florist | Gathered Floral

Montrose House in Sutton Forest is located near Bowral in the Southern Highlands. It is a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney and is very popular with destination wedding couples from Sydney.

Dating back to 1861 with a private historic homestead and heritage listed old English inspired gardens, as well an original out building that has been converted into the reception space now known as Badgery Hall. There is the option of having your ceremony in the gardens or in the dedicated ceremony space complete with a paved courtyard and aisle, featuring focal antique doors and an overhead canopy of ancient trees.

My best advice to get the most out of your floral budget is to invest in your ceremony florals on those amazing vintage doors. These arrangements can easily be repurposed to the reception giving that area an abundance of florals. For this wedding, I have repurposed the arrangements to the large white urns behind the bridal table, under the seating chart and at the ends of each of the long tables.

I have worked on many weddings at this beautiful venue and it is one of my favourites in the Bowral and Southern Highlands region. I so look forward to working on more weddings here!
